Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Answers early goal
Moore scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.
Moore ended a six-game goal drought with his tally at 1:23 of the first period to answer Ivan Barbashev's opening goal. The 20-year-old Moore continues to feature in a second-line role at even strength, though his power-play time has remained sporadic. The forward has done pretty well with three goals, seven points, 17 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 14 appearances as he's settled into a full-time NHL role over the last month.

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Two points in big win
Moore recorded a goal, an assist and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
The 20-year-old playmaker made his NHL debut Nov. 3 and hasn't needed a lot of time to adjust to a top-six role, as he's racked up five points (two goals, three assists) in his first seven outings. He earned his first multi-point effort, and Moore should continue to have plenty of opportunities to keep producing as long as he continues to see regular playing time. Moore currently holds a second-line role at even strength and is also a member of the second power-play unit.

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Scores first NHL goal
Moore scored a goal and put five shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 win over Detroit.
Moore's first goal at the NHL level came with 16 seconds to go in regulation. Since his call-up from AHL Rockford, he has two points in four contests with the Blackhawks. The 20-year-old has seen a nice stint on the second line due to the injuries to Jason Dickinson (shoulder) and Frank Nazar (undisclosed). It remains to be seen whether Moore will head back down to AHL Rockford when Dickinson is activated from IR, but Moore's first stint in the NHL this season could lead to more opportunities in the future.

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Heroics in IceHogs' win
Moore scored both goals for AHL Rockford in its 2-1 overtime win over Texas on Friday.
Moore opened the scoring 1:15 into the first period and won it 2:18 into overtime. The 20-year-old forward is up to four goals and an assist through three minor-league games. He's doing everything he can to be ready for a call-up should the Blackhawks opt to change things up at the NHL level. However, Moore is unlikely to get promoted unless there's at least middle-six minutes waiting for him, as he's too talented to grind it out on the fourth line.

Moore seemed close to an NHL job in training camp but ultimately missed out. He's had his first big game of the year in just his second minor-league appearance. The 20-year-old put up four assists in nine outings with the Blackhawks at the tail end of 2024-25 after signing out of the University of Minnesota.

The 20-year-old winger will be in contention for a roster spot in training camp this fall. Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Earns first two helpers
Moore logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Capitals.
Moore checked off multiple milestones with his first multi-point effort and first helpers in his third NHL game. He's added four shots on net, one hit, one blocked shot and an even plus-minus rating since making his debut March 30 versus Utah after signing his entry-level deal following the conclusion of his collegiate season with the University of Minnesota. Moore is filling a third-line role for now, and while he has significant long-term upside, fantasy managers in redraft formats can likely find more established depth options.

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Looking great in NCAA
Moore is having a strong sophomore campaign with the University of Minnesota, supplying seven goals and 23 points through 28 outings this season.
In terms of his scoring pace, it's comparable to what Moore provided in 2023-24 -- nine goals and 33 points in 39 NCAA appearances. Chicago is in full rebuild and is hoping that he'll be an important pillar of the franchise in the years to come. It wouldn't be surprising to see Moore turn pro after the University of Minnesota's season concludes and get a brief look with the Blackhawks at the end of 2024-25 in a middle-six role. Chicago selected Moore with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
