Red Wings' Carter Bear: Logs three-point effort in win
Bear scored twice and added an assist in WHL Everett's 6-3 win over Kelowna on Friday.
This was Bear's first multi-goal game of the campaign. He's up to seven goals and 17 points through 17 appearances for the Silvertips this season. He can do better, as evidenced by his 82-point effort in 56 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Red Wings' Carter Bear: Trio of assists in overtime win

Bear is maintaining a point-per-game pace now in the WHL after his second three-point effort in the last three contests. He has four goals and seven helpers through 11 appearances for the Silvertips. Red Wings' Carter Bear: Racks up three points in WHL win
Bear scored a goal on eight shots and added two assists in WHL Everett's 7-2 win over Spokane on Saturday.
After a two-point season debut, Bear went a little quiet until Saturday's breakout performance. He's at four goals and eight points through nine appearances for the Silvertips this year. A first-round pick of the Red Wings (13th overall, 2025), Bear will have a year or two more to develop in the WHL before making the jump to the AHL. So far in 2025-26, he's behind the pace of his 40-goal, 82-point from the 2024-25 regular season.

Red Wings' Carter Bear: One of each in season debut
Bear scored a goal on eight shots and added an assist in WHL Everett's 4-1 win over Victoria on Friday.
This was Bear's season debut for the Silvertips, giving them another key piece in what could be a special year. Everett has started 6-0-1 and also boasts Landon DuPont, a 16-year-old defenseman who was granted exceptional player status ahead of 2024-25. Bear, a Red Wings prospect, erupted for 82 points, 185 shots on net, 77 PIM and a plus-33 rating over 56 regular-season contests last year. The 18-year-old could be in line for a roster spot with Team Canada at the World Junior Championship this winter.

Red Wings' Carter Bear: Signs entry-level deal
Bear signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Red Wings on Wednesday.
Bear was selected by Detroit with the 13th overall pick in last month's draft, and he was able to reach an agreement with the Red Wings several weeks after joining the organization. The 18-year-old's 2024-25 campaign was cut short due to a lacerated Achilles, and he'll likely spend most of the 2025-26 season developing in juniors.
