Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Distributes four assists in win
Draisaitl recorded four assists, two shots on goal, two hits and a plus-4 rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Draisaitl played facilitator during the Oilers' five-goal second period, assisting on all of their even-strength tallies. All of the helpers were primary assists. Draisaitl hasn't gotten quite as much buzz as Connor McDavid or Evan Bouchard to start the year, but he's been virtually just as important. Draisaitl has three goals, six assists, 17 shots on net, three hits and a plus-8 rating over four contests this season.

Oilers' Kasperi Kapanen: Scores 100th career goal
Kapanen scored a power-play goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Kapanen's tally was the 100th of his career. The 30-year-old winger has earned three points this season, including two on the power play and one while shorthanded. He's currently filling in on the top power-play unit, which will be a short-term boost in value until the Oilers get Zach Hyman (undisclosed), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (lower body) or Matt Savoie (lower body) back. Kapanen has added eight shots on net, five hits, three blocked shots and a minus-4 rating while skating on the second line at even strength.

Oilers' Vasily Podkolzin: Scores in Wednesday's win
Podkolzin scored a goal on three shots, added five hits and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Podkolzin continues to thrive on the Oilers' top line alongside the superstar duo of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The 25-year-old Podkolzin is riding a four-game point streak to start the season, earning four goals, two assists, 16 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-6 rating. He's been one of the quickest risers in fantasy this season, and his hot start could help him stay in the top six all year.

Oilers' Connor McDavid: Stays hot in Wednesday's win
McDavid scored a goal, dished two assists (including one on the power play), added two hits and went plus-4 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
McDavid has multiple points in all four of the Oilers' games this season. The 29-year-old superstar has three goals, nine assists, eight shots on net, four hits, three blocked shots and a plus-11 rating. McDavid is already in his usual spot atop the points leaderboard, though this pace is above even his lofty abilities. He'll be a force on offense all season as long as he avoids injuries.

Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Rattles off three more points
Bouchard scored twice on four shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-4 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Bouchard was right in the middle of the Oilers' five-goal second period. The 26-year-old defenseman is the first blueliner to cross the 10-point mark this year, doing so with six goals, five assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over four appearances. There's been no slow start on offense in Edmonton this season, and Bouchard's strong play cements his status as one of the top blueliners in the league.

Oilers' Devon Levi: Overcomes rough first period
Levi allowed two goals on 31 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Beckett Sennecke scored twice in the first period, but Levi locked in over the final 40 minutes. The Oilers' offense also stepped up with a five-goal second period to give him support. Levi has won all three of his starts so far despite allowing 10 goals on 73 shots in those games. The Oilers' next game is Saturday versus the Sharks, and if Levi gets the start and plays well in that one, he may be considered the early leader for the No. 1 job between the pipes in Edmonton.

Oilers' Colton Dach: On injured reserve
Dach (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton.
Dach's placement might be retroactive to when he last played in Edmonton's 3-1 win over Seattle on Saturday. He has no points, two PIM, eight hits and three blocks in three outings this season. His injury coincides with the Oilers' acquisition of Filip Hallander, who might draw into the lineup for Edmonton against Anaheim on Wednesday. If Hallander isn't available so soon after being traded, then Mathieu Joseph might play instead due to the spot in the lineup vacated by Dach.

Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Playing against Ducks
Dickinson (foot) will be in the lineup versus Anaheim on Wednesday, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
Dickinson will make his 2026-27 season debut in a second-line role alongside Trent Frederic and Kasperi Kapenen. In 17 regular-season games against the Ducks last year, the 31-year-old center registered one goal, three assists and 21 shots while averaging 15:03 of ice time.

Oilers' Filip Hallander: Dealt to Edmonton
Hallander was traded to the Oilers from the Penguins on Wednesday in exchange for Spencer Stastney.
Hallander began the 2026-27 campaign on a high note with his first career three-point game during the Penguins' Opening Night matchup against Philadelphia. Across his first two appearances of the year, he's recorded a goal, two assists, a hit and a blocked shot while averaging 10:17 of ice time. He'll attempt to carve out playing time with his new club as the season progresses.

Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Nearing return to lineup
Dickinson (foot) is working his way toward full health and might make his season debut in Anaheim on Wednesday, per Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official site.
Dickinson skated between Trent Frederic and Kasperi Kapanen on the second line during Monday's practice, which is a good indication that Dickinson is closing on being ready to suit up in a game. According to Umbach, Dickinson's teammates and head coach Mike Babcock are hoping the 31-year-old center will be ready for Wednesday's road divisional matchup against the Ducks. Dickinson will certainly help the Oilers defensively once he's in the lineup, as Edmonton has struggled in its own zone to begin the year. The Ontario native missed the entirety of training camp, however, so it may take him a bit to get up to game speed.

Oilers' Devon Levi: Gets starting nod for Wednesday
Levi will be between the pipes on the road against Anaheim on Wednesday, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
Levi is currently riding a two-game winning streak during which he posted a 4.03 GAA and .810 save percentage. With those victories, the 24-year-old backstop has already matched his 2025-26 win total. At this point, it seems to be an open competition for the No. 1 role in Edmonton, especially while Frederik Andersen (knee) is on the shelf.

Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Set to start Saturday
Jarry will start Saturday's road game against San Jose, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
Jarry and Devon Levi have shared time in the crease to begin the year, and that trend will continue during the Oilers' second week of regular-season play. Levi will draw a third consecutive start Wednesday in Anaheim, while Jarry will make his second start of the year Saturday. Jarry wasn't particularly sharp during his Opening Night start, as he allowed six goals on 23 shots (.739 save percentage) in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Canucks at home.

Oilers' Owen Michaels: Scores again Saturday
Michaels scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.
Michaels opened the scoring at 2:51 of the first period on a snipe from the bottom of the left-wing faceoff circle. The 24-year-old has taken advantage of his opportunities early in the year, with two goals, four shots, three hits and two blocked shots over three contests. He'll continue to fill in on the third line while the Oilers wait for injured forwards to return.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Scores go-ahead goal
Draisaitl scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.
Draisaitl's tally at 17:33 of the third period stood as the game-winner. The 30-year-old has three goals, two assists, 15 shots and a plus-4 rating across three contests this season. Draisaitl is also playing on the right wing on Edmonton's top line, so he could gain positional versatility in fantasy this year if he continues to stick in that spot while the Oilers deal with numerous injuries.

Oilers' Connor McDavid: Leads charge in win over Kraken
McDavid scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over Seattle.
Both points came in the third period as the Oilers broke open a 1-1 tie. McDavid has been locked in to begin the season, recording three straight multi-point performances while racking up two goals and nine points as he looks to defend his Art Ross Trophy win from 2025-26, when he piled up 138 points (48 goals and 90 helpers) in 82 regular-season games.

Oilers' Devon Levi: Sharp in Saturday's win
Levi made 19 saves in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.
A Bobby McMann power-play tally in the second period was all that stood between Levi and his first career NHL shutout. It was a strong bounce-back effort after he coughed up seven goals in his Oilers debut Thursday, but Levi has picked up the win in his first two starts for the team. He'll battle Tristan Jarry for playing time until Frederik Andersen (knee) gets healthy.

Oilers' Devon Levi: Getting start versus Seattle
Levi will protect the home goal versus the Kraken on Saturday, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
Levi is set to start despite allowing seven goals on 22 shots in his season debut Thursday versus the Canucks. He did get the win in that contest, so it's possible he's being rewarded for the result more than the process. Tristan Jarry lost his start Opening Night, but he'll be a veteran option to fill in if Levi can't get on track.
