Whitelaw is in his senior year of college, and he's playing like an experienced player. He's up to seven goals, five assists and a plus-10 rating through six contests. While Thursday's opponent made for an easy matchup, Whitelaw looks highly productive. He had 34 points in 39 games for WMU last year after transferring from the University of Michigan, but he's poised for a bigger year in 2026-27 before potentially turning pro.
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Between pipes against Carolina

Greaves has sat out three of the Blue Jackets' last four games, but he'll return to the crease on the road Thursday. The 25-year-old has had a shaky start to the regular season, going 2-3-0 with a 3.33 GAA and .883 save percentage.
Blue Jackets' Caleb MacDonald: Off IR-NR, sent to minors

While he's bounced around the Blue Jackets' lineup in the past, he appears to be settling into his current role as the team's top-line right winger nicely. After a down year offensively in 2025-26, where he compiled just 22 points, he's on pace to finish the current campaign much closer to his career high of 57 regular-season points from 2024-25. Johnson's main fantasy value is in deep points-only leagues, but if the Jackets can start to slowly turn things around, he'll likely play a major role in that effort.
