Inclement weather forced the postponement of Wednesday's game in Baltimore, but they should get two games in Thursday, with no chance of rain at 63° and winds blowing across and out to right field at 15 mph. The Astros are the top over team in baseball, hitting at 70%, and the game stayed under on Tuesday, with the Orioles winning 5-3. In that game, there was one critical moment, I believe in the 6th, that the Astros blew a chance at getting over when they had runners on second and third with no outs, and then the bases loaded with one out, and they got no runs. Baltimore has gone over the total 18 times, which is 62.1% of their games. Game 1 Over.

Analysis

I played the Phillies with this same pitching matchup on Wednesday but the game got rained out. Now Cristopher Sanchez and Logan Webb will square off in the first game of a double-header. I'll run it back with Philadelphia. Sanchez is coming off his worst outing of the season versus the Cubs where he gave up six runs in 5.1 innings. However, in his five prior starts, Sanchez allowed just five earned runs over 28.1 innings. I expect Sanchez to rebound here and Logan Webb has pitched better at home than on the road. The Phillies go 2-0 under new skipper Don Mattingly.

Paul Skenes is dominating again, but that mediocre Pirates lineup could easily be shut out over five innings by Hunter Dobbins in his Cardinals debut. And if the St. Louis offense can just push one across in the first five, I feel quite good about it. Prefer this certainly to Pirates -0.5 at same price.

Andrew Abbott is 0-2 this year with a 6.59 ERA, but the Reds have won three of his last four starts because they simply outscore their opponents. Abbott has gone over the total in his last five starts, and most of it is attributed to Abbott. In his first start against Boston, he pitched six innings and allowed no runs, and it looked like he was continuing his fantastic 2025, but it turned for the worse as he's allowed 22 runs in his last five starts. Rockies starter Michael Lorenzen has allowed 21 runs between his last five starts. Over is the play with a slight lean to the Rockies.

Analysis

The Knicks turned around this series, in part, by letting Karl-Anthony Towns have the ball more. At 7 feet, Towns is an excellent playmaker who can see clearly over his defender. He dished out 10 assists in Game 4, six assists in Game 5. He has cleared this prop total in four of the five playoff games. In addition, he had six assists when the Knicks visited Atlanta on April 6 and snapped the Hawks' 13-game home won streak. The Knicks' tweaking their offensive approach is working for Jalen Brunson too, so there's no reason to change anything Thursday.
