Omot served as Lakeland's top scorer off the bench in Thursday's victory, as it was the first time all season where he reached the 20-point mark. The 6-foot-9 forward is now averaging 8.7 points and 2.9 boards per contest across his seven appearances with the G League Magic.

Omot made his Lakeland debut Sunday after the team acquired him from Westchester earlier last week. The 6-foot-9 forward will likely continue serving as a rotational big man off of the G-League Magic's bench for the rest of the campaign after he averaged 10.1 points and 3.9 rebounds across 31 games as a member of the G-League Knicks.

Omot has signed a contract with the Knicks, the team announced Friday.
Omot's last NBA action was in 2018, when he played for the Warriors' summer league team. Last season, he played for Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico and averaged 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 20.1 minutes over 27 games. The forward out of Baylor will attempt to make the roster at the forward position alongside recent signee Garrison Brooks.
