The Dolphins waived Dedmon on Tuesday.
Dedmon signed a futures contract with the Dolphins in January, but he's among the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 85-man roster deadline. The return specialist most recently played with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League, but he's yet to make his NFL debut.
