Master Teague: Let go by Steelers
Teague was waived by the Steelers on Monday.
Teague was signed by the Steelers in January after the team let him go from its practice squad in December, but he'll once again be a free agent. The running back has yet to appear in an NFL game after a four-year college career with Ohio State. Considering he's only 23 years old, it seems highly likely that he'll find another opportunity in the near future.

Steelers' Master Teague: Links back up with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Teague to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Teague first signed with Pittsburgh on Aug. 3 but he was waived from IR with an injury settlement just three weeks later while dealing with an ankle issue. The running back then re-signed with the team's practice squad Nov. 23 before he was once again waived in early December. The undrafted rookie will now look to establish a more consistent role with Pittsburgh this offseason.

Teague was cut from the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Teague will look for his next opportunity after being let go by the Steelers for the second time this year and is still looking to make his NFL debut after wrapping up his collegiate career with Ohio State in 2021. The running back will likely catch on with another team's practice unit in the near future or even return to Pittsburgh at some point.

This move comes one day after Teague reverted to the Steelers' injured reserve following his failure to be claimed off waivers. He now has the freedom to find a new opportunity once he fully recovers from his ankle injury.

Teague's injury isn't expected to be serious and he's considered day to day. The undrafted rookie, who originally signed with the Bears, rushed for 31 yards on six carries in the Steelers' preseason win over the Seahawks on Saturday.

Steelers' Master Teague: Signs with Pittsburgh
Teague signed a deal with the Steelers prior to Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Teague signed with the Steelers to provide added depth at the running back position. The signing comes after Jeremy McNichols was placed on IR with a shoulder injury. Teague, an undrafted free agent, was signed by the Bears in May, however, he was waived after only a week. The 22-year-old rookie rushed for 1,757 yards and 17 touchdowns in 31 games while at Ohio State, and he'll now compete for a spot on Pittsburgh's roster ahead of the 2022 campaign.
