Top Tyrone Tracy Jr. News

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Career-high 159 scrimmage yards

Tracy rushed 18 times for 103 yards and lost a fumble while catching eight of nine targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Cowboys. He finishes the 2025 season with 740 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, as well as 36 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns on 48 targets.

Tracy capped his sophomore season with a career-high 159 scrimmage yards as the Giants notched their fourth win of the campaign. Rookie fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo established himself as the lead back prior to dislocating his ankle in Week 8, but Tracy figures to maintain a substantial role in the Giants' 2026 backfield regardless of how Skattebo's recovery goes. Tracy has exceeded 1,000 scrimmage yards in each of his first two NFL seasons.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Loses out to Singletary

Tracy rushed the ball 14 times for 62 yards in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Raiders. He added one reception on two targets for minus-5 yards.

Tracy led the Giants' backfield in rushing attempts and was fairly efficient with his opportunity. Two of his carries went for at least 10 yards, the longer of which was a 23-yard scamper that pushed the team into field-goal range on their first possession of the second half. However, Tracy missed out on opportunities to Devin Singletary, both as a receiver and near the goal line, to limit his fantasy appeal. Nevertheless, Tracy has at least 60 yards on the ground in six of his last seven games heading into an exploitable Week 18 matchup against the Cowboys.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Tops 70 rushing yards in Week 16

Tracy rushed 16 times for 71 yards and caught both of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Vikings.

Tracy reached the 70-yard threshold on the ground for the fourth time in six games. He had 16 carries to Devin Singletary's 11 while Jaxson Dart completed only seven passes and had just two carries in a quiet game for the rookie quarterback. Tracy's poised to maintain the lead-back role in the Giants' run-heavy offense in a Week 17 road game against the Raiders.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Two TDs in loss to Washington

Tracy carried the ball 15 times for 70 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 27 yards and a second TD in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.

One game after Devin Singletary led the Giants backfield with 102 scrimmage yards and a score, it was Tracy's turn to pop, as he ran for a 12-yard TD in the second quarter and caught an 18-yard toss from Jaxson Dart in the third. The two touchdowns were Tracy's first trips to the end zone since Week 7, when he recorded his only other score of the season. He'll try to build on this performance in Week 16 against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Full practice Wednesday

Tracy (hip) practiced fully Wednesday, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.

Tracy took a big hit in the Giants' last game Dec. 1 and couldn't put much weight on his left leg as he left the field. Afterward, he called the injury a hip contusion/stinger, but with the benefit of the team's Week 14 bye, he was able to put the health concern behind him. Tracy thus is poised to split the backfield with Devin Singletary yet again Sunday against the Commanders.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Has bruised hip

Tracy said Tuesday that he suffered a hip contusion/stinger during Monday's loss at New England, but he expects to be "fine," Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Tracy endured a hard hit in the fourth quarter and couldn't put much weight on his left leg as he was assisted to the sideline. He then was carted to the locker room, marking the end of Tracy's night. Meanwhile, Devin Singletary had his most productive outing of the season in Week 13 with 15 touches for 102 yards from scrimmage and one TD. New York has a Week 14 bye on tap, which may afford Tracy enough time to get back to 100 percent. Both Tracy and Singletary have had regular roles in the offense since Cam Skattebo (ankle) went down and likely need the other to cede snaps to provide consistent fantasy results.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Dealing with hip issue

Tracy is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Patriots due to a hip injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Tracy took a hard hit early in the fourth quarter and was unable to put much weight on his left leg as he was helped off the field. He was quickly carted to the locker after being examined in the medical tent, suggesting he is unlikely to return to Monday's game given the limited remaining time. Devin Singletary is in line to handle most of the work in the Giants backfield to close the contest.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Being examined in medical tent

Tracy (undisclosed) was helped off the field by trainers in the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Patriots, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Tracy was bottled up on a run early in the fourth quarter and took a hard hit to the head area, and he was also unable to put much weight on his left leg while exiting. The exact nature of the injury is unclear, but his lower body appears to be the primary problem. Tracy was taken on a cart to the locker room for further examination after a brief period in the medical tent. Devin Singletary should serve as the Giants' primary back in Tracy's absence.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Second straight game with 130-plus

Tracy rushed 20 times for 62 yards and caught three of four targets for 68 yards in Sunday's 34-27 overtime loss to the Lions.

Tracy had six more rushing attempts than Devin Singletary, and Singletary wasn't targeted while Tracy contributed with catches of 42, 20 and six yards. The Giants will likely continue to mix both running backs in against the stout New England run defense in Week 13, but Tracy has established himself as the 1A backfield option with 269 scrimmage yards over the past two games. Tracy still has only one touchdown this season.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Breakout performance in loss

Tracy rushed 19 times for 88 yards and brought in all four targets for 51 yards in the Giants' 27-20 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Tracy was given the chance to pace the ground attack in interim head coach Mike Kafka's first game at the helm, and the second-year pro responded with his best all-around performance of the campaign. With Sunday's performance, Tracy eclipsed what was then a season-high 71 rushing yards he'd posted in Week 10 against the Bears, and he also finished with a season high in receiving yards. Given Sunday's results, Tracy figures to remain in the top role during a Week 12 road matchup against the Lions despite the fact backfield mate Devin Singletary was also effective with two rushing touchdowns on 16 carries.
