Devin Carter: Cut by Carolina
The Panthers waived Carter (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Carter was set to spend all of 2024 on Carolina's IR before reaching an injury settlement with the Panthers on Friday. Once the rookie wide receiver from West Virginia has recovered from his undisclosed injury, he'll be free to sign with any team.

Panthers' Devin Carter: Reverts to IR
Carter (undisclosed) reverted to Carolina's injured reserve Tuesday after clearing waivers, per the NFL's transaction log.
Carter was waived/injured with an unspecified injury Sunday, but he will stay on the Panthers' IR and be forced to miss all of 2024 unless he reaches an injury settlement with Carolina.

The Panthers waived/injured Carter (undisclosed) on Sunday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Carter signed with the Panthers on July 26 as an undrafted free agent, but he now appears to be dealing with an undisclosed injury. If the wide receiver clears waivers, he'll revert to Carolina's injured reserve ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Panthers' Devin Carter: Gets shot with Panthers
Carolina signed Carter as an undrafted free agent Friday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Word of Carter signing with the Panthers first surfaced back in April, and the wideout officially inked a deal with the club Friday. Carter played his first five college seasons with North Carolina State before transferring to West Virginia ahead of the 2023 campaign, and he finished his final season with 27 catches for 501 yards and two touchdowns. Carter will get a chance to show off his skill set in training camp, though he's a long shot to to make Carolina's 53-man roster.
