Angels' Kyren Paris: Placed on 60-day IL

Paris was moved to the 60-day injured list Monday due to a ligament tear in his left thumb.

Paris was brought up Friday from Triple-A Salt Lake to get some opportunities in the big leagues, but he was sent for further evaluation Monday after injuring his left thumb. This diagnosis will force him to miss the remainder of the 2023 campaign.
