Anibal Sanchez: Suffers finger injury

Sanchez suffered a cut middle finger during his showcase Saturday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Sanchez was only able to throw 13 pitches in front of prospective teams Saturday before he sustained his injury. He'll be sidelined for approximately 7-to-10 days before he's able to resume throwing. Sanchez reportedly looked good during his throwing session, but it's not yet clear whether he'll land a contract, especially after he suffered a setback.
