Athletics' Skye Bolt: Traded to Athletics

Bolt was traded from the Giants to the Athletics in exchange for cash considerations Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bolt was designated for assignment by the Giants on Friday, but he'll return to Oakland's 40-man roster via trade after he was waived by the team to begin the regular season. Bolt came off the bench in two games to begin the season and went 0-for-1 with a strikeout.
