Dodgers' Albert Pujols: Placed on injured list

Pujols was placed on the injured list Tuesday but was not given an injury designation.

The club has yet to specify what injury the veteran first baseman is dealing with, and until those details are disclosed, it won't be known if he's expected to be back in time for the start of the postseason. Pujols' move to the IL frees up a spot for Cody Bellinger (ribs) to rejoin the active roster.
