You want a sleeper? Hoo boy, have I got a sleeper for you.

How often is the top pick in this article rostered in less than 30 percent of CBS Sports leagues? My cutoff for a sleeper is 80 percent, and usually the top pick is skating that line. Heck, the top five typically are.

Of course, his matchups could be better. He also has an ERA approaching 6.00, so ... it may just be that it's an especially weak week for sleeper pitchers.

Nevertheless, here are my 10 favorites rostered in less than 80 percent of CBS Sports leagues.

Sleeper pitchers for Week 18 (July 26-Aug. 1)

A mechanical tweak has him riding high with three straight quality starts that have featured more whiffs and ground balls. The overall numbers are still awful, but the track record is strong enough that I'm optimistic he's fixed.
DET Detroit • #38 • Age: 35

I'm less confident he's fixed, especially with all the elbow trouble he's had going back to June, but his most recent start was more what we're used to seeing from him. These two matchups justify the gamble.
OAK Oakland • #39 • Age: 26

If we could trust the rookie to go five-plus innings, he'd probably rank No. 1 on this list, but at least his swing-and-miss game is strong. Two starts should make for enough volume, and against these two lineups, the ratios should be solid.
COL Colorado • #26 • Age: 30
Matchups
at LAA, at SD

He served up three home runs in his first start back from a forearm injury last time out, but it was at Coors Field and he looked fine otherwise. These two starts are on the road, and you may remember he was one of the hottest pitchers in baseball before the injury.
CHC Chi. Cubs • #50 • Age: 32
Matchups
at MIA
ROSTERED

He had a hard time getting reacclimated after so much time away from the game, but he's looked much more in control lately and is facing the league's worst offense, at least in terms of OPS.
STL St. Louis • #33 • Age: 35

He continues to defy the projections for a second straight season and is now going deeper into games as well, throwing six-plus innings in four consecutive starts.
CHW Chi. White Sox • #47 • Age: 27

The former top prospect is looking in top form with back-to-back brilliant starts. He has faked us out in the past, but this matchup should help him along.
CHC Chi. Cubs • #73 • Age: 29
Matchups
vs. CIN, at WAS

He's been a little hit or miss but is coming off a quality start and doesn't seem to be having his innings restricted at the moment. The matchups are middling, but at least there's two of them.
TOR Toronto • #46 • Age: 30

The Yankees remain a not-so-bad matchup, but mostly, I think he's a good enough bat-misser that you don't have to sweat the matchups so much with him.
TEX Texas • #23 • Age: 33
Matchups
at SEA

He's been a little shaky lately, but this matchup should help him get back on track. And of course, he has the Astros lineup backing him.
