Mariners' Cade Marlowe: Optioned to Tacoma

The Mariners optioned Marlowe to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.

Marlowe has appeared in eight games since making his MLB debut July 23, going 2-for-8 with a walk and a run scored. He'll now be sent back to the minors, as the Mariners will opt to boost their infield depth by recalling Ryan Bliss from Tacoma.
