Mariners' Cade Marlowe: Sent down to Triple-A

The Mariners optioned Marlowe to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Marlowe will probably be needed at some point, especially with the injury-prone Mitch Haniger slated for everyday left field duties. For now, though, he'll head to Tacoma, where he will play regularly.
