Holloway was optioned to High-A Jupiter, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.
Holloway is one of several Marlins hurlers in the minors with a monster fastball and a lot of things to work on. He had Tommy John surgery in 2017 and returned late in the 2018 season, so this will be his first full season back from the procedure.
