Rangers' Travis Jankowski: Placed on paternity leave

Texas placed Jankowski on the paternity leave list Friday.

Jankowski will miss at least part of the Rangers' three-game weekend series in San Francisco as he welcomes a new addition to his family. J.P. Martinez is up from Triple-A Round Rock and starting in left field Friday versus the Giants.
