Giants' Rafael Devers: Homers again Tuesday
Devers went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and two walks in Tuesday's 13-12 loss to the Pirates.
Devers launched a three-run home run to center field in the second inning, marking his second homer in as many games. The veteran infielder has recorded at least one hit in nine consecutive outings, batting .400 with 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and five long balls in 42 plate appearances during that time. Royce Lewis 1B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Homers in blowout win
Lewis went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double, a walk and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 15-2 rout of the Tigers.
Lewis finished a triple shy of the cycle, with his biggest contribution coming on a three-run homer in Minnesota's 10-run sixth inning. It had been 22 contests since his last big fly, a stretch in which he held only a .282 slugging percentage. Lewis is slashing .236/.304/.407 with 14 homers, 21 doubles, one triple, 49 RBI, 48 runs and 14 steals across 104 games this season.

Kyle Stowers 1B | MIA
Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Goes deep in win
Stowers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Royals.
Stowers took Randy Dobnak deep for a solo homer in the fifth inning, giving him 17 long balls on the season and his first since returning from the injured list due to a hamstring strain. He's gone 7-for-25 (.280) with five RBI across eight games since his return, though his 41.4 percent strikeout rate during that stretch remains a concern.

Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Perfect at plate Tuesday
Harper went 4-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Diamondbacks.
While all four hits were singles, Harper was able to get on base in every plate appearance in this contest. The 33-year-old has multiple hits in seven of his last nine games, going 17-for-34 (.500) with five RBI in that span. On the year, Harper is batting .274 with a .901 OPS, 27 home runs, 80 RBI, 85 runs scored, 28 doubles, three triples and seven stolen bases over 139 contests.

Jonathan Aranda 1B | TB
Rays' Jonathan Aranda: Taking seat Tuesday
Aranda is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.
Aranda started the previous nine games and will receive a day off after batting .206 (7-for-34) with two homers during that span. Ryan Vilade will pick up a start at first base against Mets lefty Sean Manaea on Tuesday.

Nolan Schanuel 1B | LAA
Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Taking swings Tuesday
Schanuel (side) is scheduled to resume swinging a bat Tuesday, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports.
It's the first time Schanuel will do any kind of hitting work since he landed on the injured list Aug. 22 with an intercostal strain. The 24-year-old resumed participating in agility work last week, though there are still a few hurdles left for him to clear before the Angels can activate him from the injured list.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Giants' Rafael Devers: Reaches 30-homer mark
Devers went 1-for-5 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-3 win over Atlanta.
Devers wasted little time making an impact, taking Bryce Elder deep as the second batter of the game for his 30th homer of the season. He added a pair of walks and is now riding an eight-game hitting streak, five of which have featured multiple hits. Devers has gone 13-for-31 (.419) with four homers and nine RBI during the eight-game stretch. On the season, the 29-year-old is slashing .252/.330/.490 across 138 games.

Mark Vientos 1B | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Homers in return
Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-2 win over the Rays.
Playing in his first game since July 9 after recovering from a fractured right hand, Vientos brought home the opening run by grounding into a double play in the fourth inning before adding a solo homer in the seventh. It was an encouraging return, though Vientos struggled to a .169 average against right-handed pitching prior to landing on the injured list, leaving him in what should be a platoon role over the final month of the season.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
Brewers' Andrew Vaughn: Playing time on downswing
Vaughn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.
The recent return of Sal Frelick from the injured list appears to have cost Vaughn playing time against right-handed pitching. With Frelick settling back in as the Brewers' primary right fielder, Jake Bauers has resumed seeing most of his playing time at first base, closing off Vaughn's primary path to playing time. Vaughn will head to the bench Monday for a fourth straight game.
