    Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Lifts seventh homer

    Rojas went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Giants.

    Rojas hadn't hit a homer since July 19 versus the Brewers. He hit a decent .261 with a .664 OPS over the 48 games between long balls before his second-inning solo shot Friday. The utility infielder is up to seven homers this season, and he's added 27 RBI, 34 runs scored and five stolen bases while slashing .266/.325/.402 through 297 plate appearances this year.

    Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes yard in loss

    Marte went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Phillies.

    Marte had gone 13 games without a homer, batting just .140 (7-for-50) in that span. He got the offense going early with a solo shot in the first inning Friday, but the Diamondbacks were able to put only one more run on the board. Marte is now at 26 homers, 67 RBI, 80 runs scored, four stolen bases, 25 doubles and a .279/.375/.508 slash line through 119 contests.

    Massey went 4-for-5 with a homer, a double, a walk, three RBI and an additional run scored in Friday's 20-1 victory over the Blue Jays.

    Massey set a new career best by tallying four hits in this contest while driving home four for the fourth time. His performance was highlighted by a 393-foot, two-run blast off Toronto starter Max Scherzer in the opening frame. Massey, who is currently fills a bench role in Kansas City, is now slashing .231/.257/.300 with three homers, 19 RBI and 16 runs scored across 262 total plate appearances.

    Athletics' Zack Gelof: Out for season

    Gelof dislocated his left shoulder during Friday's game against Pittsburgh, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

    Gelof suffered the injury while diving for a grounder in the fifth inning of Friday's contest, and he will ultimately have to miss the rest of the season. He'll close the book on 2025 with a forgettable .174/.230/.272 slash line to go with two homers, seven RBI, 12 runs scored and a steal through 101 plate appearances in the majors.

    Athletics' Zack Gelof: Exits early Friday

    Gelof was removed from Friday's game against the Pirates with a left shoulder injury, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

    Gelof appeared to be holding his wrist after making a diving play on a groundball in the fifth inning, but the issue has now been revealed to be in his shoulder. He was immediately replaced at second base following the incident and will presumably head in for imaging to determine the severity of his injury. Fantasy managers can consider him day-to-day until the team provides more details about the second baseman's status.

    Rays' Brandon Lowe: Taking seat

    Lowe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Boston.

    Lowe is out of the lineup for the second time in three games, a stretch that followed four consecutive starts at second base. In his last six games, Lowe is 6-for-26 (.231) with a homer and nine strikeouts.

    Marlins' Xavier Edwards: On bench Friday

    Edwards (wrist) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.

    Edwards is absent from the starting nine for a sixth consecutive game due to right wrist soreness. Graham Pauley will bat eighth and play second base.

  • Phillies' Rafael Lantigua: Returned to Triple-A

    The Phillies optioned Lantigua to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.

    Lantigua will cede his spot on the 28-man roster to Alec Bohm (shoulder) as Bohm returns from the 10-day injured list. Lantigua didn't appear in a game for the Phillies. He's slashed .233/.360/.334 with seven home runs and 17 stolen bases across 490 plate appearances with Lehigh Valley.

  • Guardians' Daniel Schneemann: Sitting Friday

    Schneemann is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Minnesota.

    Scheemann isn't part of the starting nine for a third consecutive contest. Steven Kwan, Angel Martinez and C.J. Kayfus will fill the outfield from left to right.

    Rivas is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Astros.

    Rivas is on the bench for the third time in four games, with Jorge Polanco manning second base. Rivas has one hit in his last 16 at-bats, but he has a pair of stolen bases and a 5:4 BB:K during that stretch.
