  • Wyatt Langford LF | TEX

Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Goes deep Saturday

Langford went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Houston.

Langford erased the Astros' early lead in the third inning when he tucked a homer inside the left field foul pole a mere 348 feet from home plate. It was his fourth home run in the last 13 games and 13th of the season.

  • Steven Kwan LF | CLE

Guardians' Steven Kwan: Moves back to leadoff

Kwan batted leadoff and went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 12-8 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Following a one-game drop to ninth in the batting order Friday, Kwan was back atop it Saturday. Cleveland faced left-handed starters in both games, which indicates manager Steven Vogt is seeking any combination that could spark an offense ranking last in OPS (.680) and 29th in runs (441). Regardless of the manager's motivation, Vogt should get Kwan as many plate appearances as possible in every game. The outfielder has multiple hits in his last three contests (7-for-12) and is batting .434 since the All-Star break.

  • Henry Bolte CF | ATH

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Ends power drought

Bolte went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Tigers.

Bolte logged just six hits over his previous 18 games, a span in which he had just one extra-base hit. He ended the power drought with an eighth-inning blast Saturday, though the Athletics' late comeback effort fell short. Bolte is now batting .257 with a .690 OPS, four homers, 21 RBI, 22 runs scored, eight doubles and 12 stolen bases over 68 contests. He showed promise earlier in the season, so he may be able to turn things around after a disappointing July.

  • Max Clark CF | DET

Tigers' Max Clark: Hits first homer

Clark went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Athletics.

The rookie has taken advantage of a favorable hitting environment in Sacramento in his first two MLB games, going 5-for-9 with a homer, three RBI and two doubles. Clark hit 11 homers in 90 contests for Triple-A Toledo before he received his first major-league call-up Friday. The outfielder should get the chance to see a near-everyday role for the remainder of the season.

  • John Rave RF | KC

Royals' John Rave: Continues to capitalize

Rave went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Rockies.

Rave helped the Royals mount a murmur of protest in the ninth inning with a solo shot to right field. Since returning from the minors July 29, Rave has started three of four contests and has gone 5-for-10 with two doubles, a homer, an RBI and a stolen base. He's seen limited action in the majors this season (31 plate appearances over 12 contests) but has done well when called upon, slashing .321/.387/.750.

  • Red Sox's Ceddanne Rafaela: Pops two more homers

Rafaela went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Rafaela homered in each of his first two at-bats in this game, taking Yoshinobu Yamamoto deep both times. That's now six homers in the last 11 games for Rafaela and three over two contests during this series in Los Angeles. The outfielder is batting .288 with a .798 OPS, 14 homers, 56 RBI, 54 runs scored and 15 stolen bases over 106 contests this year. His recent power surge has put him two long balls away from matching his career-high total from the 2025 regular season.

  • Spencer Jones CF | NYY

Yankees' Spencer Jones: Stays hot in loss

Jones went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Cubs.

Jones scored both of the Yankees' runs, highlighted by a solo shot that gave them a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning. The 25-year-old has now hit safely in four straight games, going deep three times with five RBI during that stretch. He's held his own through 105 major-league plate appearances, slashing .247/.333/.452 with five homers, 13 RBI, 10 runs scored and three steals despite a 38.1 percent strikeout rate.

  • Chase DeLauter RF | CLE

Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Goes deep in loss

DeLauter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 12-8 loss to the Diamondbacks.

DeLauter scored the game's first run before opening the eighth inning with a solo blast off Paul Sewald. While the 24-year-old outfielder posted a strong .857 OPS in 24 July contests, Saturday's long ball marked his first homer in 14 games since the All-Star break. For the year, he's slashing .276/.345/.440 with 12 home runs, 52 RBI, 40 runs scored and six steals across 394 plate appearances in what continues to be a productive rookie campaign.

  • Zyhir Hope CF | DET

Tigers' Zyhir Hope: Sent to Detroit for Skubal

The Dodgers traded Hope, River Ryan (hamstring) and Brady Smith to the Tigers on Saturday in exchange for Tarik Skubal, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

It's a hefty package for Skubal, with the Tigers acquiring the Dodgers' No. 5, 7 and 17 prospects in return, per Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee. Hope had worked his way up to Double-A Tulsa after being acquired by the Dodgers from the Cubs in January in 2024, and he's slashed .293/.369/.530 with 18 steals (in 21 attempts), 23 home runs and 87 RBI across 425 plate appearances this season. Hope figures to stay in Double-A for the time being, but a big-league debut in 2027 is certainly on the table.

  • Nolan Jones LF | SEA

Mariners' Nolan Jones: Moved to Seattle

The Mariners acquired Jones, right-hander Seranthony Dominguez and catcher Boston Smith from the White Sox on Saturday in exchange for right-hander Luis Castillo, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Jones will be on the move for the second time in less than two months after the White Sox acquired him in a trade with the Guardians on June 11. Between those two organizations, Jones has spent the entire 2026 season at Triple-A, where he has an .807 OPS with 14 home runs and 11 steals across 382 plate appearances. The 28-year-old outfielder will likely report to Triple-A Tacoma.
