Conine will get what looks like a rest day as Miami goes with Esteury Ruiz in right field, Kyle Stowers at first base and Agustin Ramirez at DH against right-hander Casey Mize. Conine's .820 OPS this season is tops on the Marlins, while his 16 homers rank third on the team.

The Reds optioned Friedl to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.
Friedl has made just 11 plate appearances since the beginning of September, going 3-for-9 with two walks and an RBI. He'll now move off the active roster to make room for Oswaldo Cabrera, who was claimed off waivers from the Yankees on Friday.

Chourio went 2-for-5 with a walk, a three-run home run and two stolen bases in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Orioles.
The 22-year-old outfielder opened the scoring by taking Cade Povich deep in the second inning, his career-high 24th homer of the season and fourth in 16 September contests. On the month, he's produced an impressive .324/.362/.541 slash line with five steals, 13 RBI and 18 runs. Chourio needs one more SB to record his third straight 20-20 season to begin his career.

Happ went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Reds.
Happ tied the game for the Cubs in the third inning with his 24th home run of the year before Cincinnati surged ahead. The veteran outfielder hadn't gone deep since Aug. 25 and is batting just .212 with a .646 OPS in 20 games since then. Despite the slump, Happ should remain a lineup regular in the last week of the regular season as Chicago jockeys for playoff positioning.

Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Dropped to seventh in order
Carroll batted seventh in Friday's game agaisnt the Yankees because of a recent slump, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.
Carroll, who had a double and a two-run home run in a 9-2 loss to New York, entered the contest batting .147 (10-for-68) with a 32.4 strikeout percentage over the previous 19 games. "Corbin's grinding right now. We all know it," manager Torey Lovullo said."Just give him a chance to catch his breath down there, take a little pressure off of him." Carroll hadn't hit lower than fifth this season and never started a game below third in 2025. It's unclear how long Lovullo will keep Carroll this low in the order, but the Diamondbacks are a better team with him in the upper half.

Acuna went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Astros.
Acuna gave Atlanta valuable insurance in the seventh inning, launching a two-run homer off AJ Blubaugh to extend the lead to 4-1 and bringing his season total to 19. The star outfielder later made an equally important defensive play, racing into shallow right field for a diving catch on Jose Altuve's potential hit to strand two runners and preserve Atlanta's two-run lead at the end of the eighth. Acuna has hit safely in six of his last seven games, batting .323 with a 1.041 OPS in that span.

McCarthy went 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI, one run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.
McCarthy drove in a run on a single in the fourth inning before tying the game on an RBI triple in the sixth. It continued a strong September for the 29-year-old breakout, who owns a 1.031 OPS with nine extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and five stolen bases through 16 games this month. On the season, he's slashing .298/.342/.490 with 15 homers, 82 RBI, 77 runs scored and 31 steals across 563 plate appearances.

Carrigg went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.
Carrigg tallied his second career two-steal effort and was actually caught trying to swipe a third in the ninth inning. The 24-year-old is finishing his rookie campaign strong, collecting 10 hits over his past five games with three homers, seven RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases in that span. On the season, he's slashing .272/.337/.467 with 10 homers, 46 RBI, 46 runs scored and 11 steals across 340 plate appearances.

Bandura went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Dodgers.
Bandura has gone 3-for-12 (.250) with a double, a steal and two runs scored over his first five games in the majors. He's made four starts -- two in right field and two as the designated hitter. The outfielder will likely continue to see part-time usage to close out 2026.

With the blast, Lee has reached the 10-homer mark for the first time in his three big-league seasons. The 28-year-old outfielder has had a quiet stretch run, going just 9-for-58 (.155) over 15 games in September. For the season, he's batting .274 with a career-high 56 RBI, 65 runs scored, 30 doubles, four triples and 12 stolen bases over 141 contests.
