Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Triples, knocks in two in win
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Colorado.
Carroll finished off the scoring in a four-run first inning with a two-out, two-run triple. It turned out to be the game-winning knock. The triple was his league-leading 17th of the season and tied a career-best mark set in 2025. He's provided some key hits as the Diamondbacks chase a postseason berth; Carroll has two doubles, one triple, three home runs and 14 RBI over his last 11 contests.

Andy Pages CF | LAD
Dodgers' Andy Pages: Posts three hits
Pages went 3-for-4 with a double in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Padres.
This was Pages' second game back after a month-long absence due to a fractured left hand. He's played in center field in both games, so the outfielder should be able to handle a starting role in the postseason. Pages has put together a strong campaign, batting .275 with an .803 OPS, 21 home runs, 80 RBI, 73 runs scored, 25 doubles, two triples and 12 stolen bases over 130 contests, numbers mostly in line with last year's marks despite the time lost to injury.

Teoscar Hernandez LF | LAD
Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Records three hits in loss
Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.
Hernandez continues to have a hot September. He's gone 28-for-75 (.373) over 20 contests this month, hitting safely in 17 of them. He's seen a slight dip in power with no extra-base hits over his last seven games. Overall, the outfielder is batting .270 with a .762 OPS, 15 home runs, 63 RBI, 65 runs scored, 17 doubles, two triples and five stolen bases over 121 contests. Hernandez should continue to see a starting role, primarily in left field, heading into the postseason.

Kyle Tucker RF | LAD
Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Logs steal Wednesday
Tucker went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.
Tucker was ailing after fouling a ball off his right leg Saturday, but he ultimately missed just one start. The stolen base Wednesday would suggest that his leg isn't bothering him much now. The outfielder is up to 12 steals on the year, and he's hitting .237 with a .727 OPS, 17 home runs, 70 RBI, 88 runs scored, 23 doubles and four triples over 150 contests.

Padres' Samad Taylor: Logs two more steals
Taylor went 0-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers.
Taylor manufactured a run on his own in the ninth inning after drawing a walk, with the two steals preceding Freddy Fermin's RBI single to pad the Padres' lead. Over his last 12 games, Taylor has gone 15-for-36 (.417) with five steals and four extra-base hits. The outfielder is now batting .333 with an .843 OPS, 12 steals, two home runs, 18 RBI, 26 runs scored, four doubles and two triples over 44 contests this season.

Bo Davidson RF | SF
Giants' Bo Davidson: Exits early Wednesday
Davidson was removed from Wednesday's game against the Twins with a foot injury, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Davidson remained in the game for a while after fouling a ball off his foot in the sixth inning, but he was eventually replaced in the outfield when the Giants' defense took the field in the ninth. X-rays on his foot came back negative shortly after the game, per Pavlovic, but Scott Bandura and Grant McCray could be candidates to start in right field if Davidson is unable to play in Friday's series opener against the Dodgers.

Jordan Lawlar CF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Jordan Lawlar: Playing time slipping
Lawlar is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Colorado.
Lawlar looks to be slipping into a secondary role, as this will be the fourth time he's been out of the lineup over the Diamondbacks' last five games against right-handers. Tim Tawa will patrol center field for Arizona.
