Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Labeled day-to-day for now
Manager Stephen Vogt said after Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers that DeLauter (wrist) is considered day-to-day, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
DeLauter was diagnosed with a right wrist sprain after leaving the second game of Friday's twin bill. However, when Vogt was asked if it's an IL situation for DeLauter, the skipper said, "We don't think so. We're very much day-to-day right now." The Guardians will wait and see how DeLauter feels Saturday before determining his availability for the rest of the series.

Trent Grisham CF | NYY
Yankees' Trent Grisham: Leaves with hamstring discomfort
Grisham was removed from Friday's game against the Padres with right hamstring discomfort, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Phillips notes that it's the same hamstring that sent Grisham to the injured list earlier this season, though the outfielder has said that he's been healthy since coming back in July. Regardless, Grisham has been in a bad way at the dish, as he entered Friday with just four hits in his last 44 at-bats.

Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Suffers right wrist sprain
DeLauter was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers with a right wrist sprain, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
DeLauter made one trip to the IL earlier this season with a rib injury and recently missed time with hamstring tightness. The extent of his latest issue isn't entirely clear, though the initial diagnosis is a bit ominous this late in the season. Travis Bazzana replaced DeLauter at designated hitter in the nightcap.

Guardians' Angel Martinez: Exits with shoulder bruise
Martinez was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers with a left shoulder bruise, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Martinez was involved in a collision with teammate Brayan Rocchio in the top of the fourth inning, leading to Martinez's exit. However, the Guardians are labeling his removal as precautionary, so it would seem Martinez escaped with a relatively minor injury.

Aaron Judge RF | NYY
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Still needs to face live pitching
Judge (ribs) won't face live pitching before the Yankees return home next week, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Judge took batting practice on the field Friday and appears on track to return during the team's upcoming homestand, which runs from Sept. 8-13. However, Hoch suggests a return for the very start of that homestand is unlikely with Judge still yet to check the final box in his recovery program. Instead, Hoch is "unofficially circling" Sept. 11 as the likely target date for Judge's return.
