The performance continued an excellent second half for the 28-year-old, who's hitting .331 with six home runs, 22 RBI, 20 runs scored and four steals over 42 games since the All-Star break. On the season, he's slashing .264/.324/.401 with nine homers, 44 RBI, 44 runs scored and nine stolen bases across 378 plate appearances.

Angels' Zach Neto: Goes deep in Sunday's loss

He has a .760 OPS with 20 steals and 73 RBI across 644 plate appearances this season.

  • Twins' Kaelen Culpepper: Not in Sunday's lineup

Culpepper (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Aaron Gleeman of AaronGleeman.com reports.

The 23-year-old Culpepper exited Saturday's contest after being hit in the shoulder by a 95 mph pitch and will miss at least one start due to the injury. Ryan Kreidler will fill in at shortstop Sunday for the Twins.

  • Yankees' George Lombard: On bench Sunday

Lombard is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

Lombard will take a seat Sunday after starting the previous eight games and going 3-for-27 (.111 average) with one double, one homer and five RBI during that span. Jose Caballero is starting at shortstop and batting ninth in the finale of the Subway Series.

  • Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL

Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Out of Sunday's lineup

  • Tigers' Kevin McGonigle: Goes deep in win Saturday

McGonigle went 2-for-5 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 11-7 win over the Rockies.

McGonigle is batting only .244 across 10 contests this month, though he's gone deep three times in his last five games. Overall, the rookie infielder is batting .272 with 17 home runs, and the fact that his power is beginning to emerge at the MLB level is a promising sign going forward. Crawford went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run, a hit-by-pitch and three total runs scored in Saturday's 19-1 win over the Athletics.

Crawford was one of eight Mariners to log multiple hits in the contest, and he's done so for both of the last two games following an 0-for-10 performance in this week's series against the Rangers. The shortstop snapped a 50-game power drought with his seventh-inning homer, a stretch that dated back to early June. Crawford is batting .223 with a .690 OPS, 11 homers, 35 RBI, 45 runs scored, 12 doubles and one stolen base over 104 games this season.
