The Knicks have traded Washington, DaQuan Jeffries, Charlie Brown and three second-round picks to the Hornets in exchange for James Nnaji in order to compete a three-team deal that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to New York and Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to Minnesota, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Washington hasn't made an NBA appearance since the 2022-23 season for Phoenix. He is expected to be waived and could rejoin EuroLeague club Partizan in Belgrade, Serbia.
