James Young: Waived by New York

Young was waived by the Knicks on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old joined New York on an Exhibit 10 contract last week, but he was never expected to have a chance of making the NBA roster. However, the signing will allow the Knicks to retain Young's G League rights, so he'll likely end up reporting to the organizational affiliate in Westchester.
