Samanic (heel) was waived by the Knicks on Thursday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
Samanic was deemed out for the season due to heel soreness, so the Knicks let him go to bring in Feron Hunt. Samanic finishes his second season having appeared in 33 games, with averages of 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.3 minutes.
