Knicks' Norvel Pelle: Waived by Knicks

Pelle was waived by the Knicks on Saturday, Bobby Marks of ESPN.com reports.

Pelle appeared in 13 games last season between the Nets, Kings and Knicks. He played 84 total minutes and recorded 20 points, 19 rebounds, nine blocks, two assists and one steal. A best-case scenario for Pelle in free agency would be finding a backup center job.
