Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Won't play in second half Thursday

Davis will not return to Thursday's game against the Warriors due to groin tightness, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Davis is reportedly sitting out due to a precaution, so it wouldn't be surprising if he played Saturday against the Kings. In his place, Max Christie is starting the second half of Thursday's game.
