Cleared to play after missing the Mavericks' last six games with a sore left foot, Brown ended up getting more playing time than expected in his return to the lineup with Dallas down six players due to injury or COVID-19-related protocols before Kristaps Porzingis exited early with right foot soreness. Dallas could get some players back for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, but Brown should retain a spot on the second unit, even if his minutes drop off a bit.
