Simmons (illness) will not play Tuesday against the Knicks.
Simmons was downgraded from probable to questionable Tuesday morning, before the Nets ultimately ruled him out. He doesn't play in both games of back-to-back sets, but because he's under the weather, he's not a lock to suit up Wednesday against the Suns.
