Pelicans' Jordan Poole: Won't play Monday

Poole (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs.

Poole hasn't played since Nov. 4 and will remain on the shelf Monday due to a left quadriceps strain. The 26-year-old guard returned to basketball activities in late November, though he can be considered doubtful for Thursday's game against Portland until New Orleans provides another update on his recovery.
