Randle (shoulder) is officially active and starting Wednesday's preseason contest versus Chicago.
Randle will step into live game action for the first time since Jan. 27. He is flanked by Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert in the Timberwolves' new-look frontcourt. It's unclear how Minnesota may limit his workload or stagger his minutes in a new environment coming off injury.
