Thompson (rest) won't play Wednesday against the Heat, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Thompson totaled 15 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists, two rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Magic. As expected, he'll sit out the second half of the Warriors' back-to-back set and should be available when Golden State returns to action Friday in Atlanta. In his absence, Gary Payton, Moses Moody and Damion Lee will all likely see increased roles against Miami.
