Bears' Tremaine Edmunds: Avoids season-ending injury

Edmunds avoided a "worst-case scenario" when he injured his knee during Sunday's game at the Chargers, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Even so, Edmunds could still miss multiple games, and more testing is necessary to determine the exact severity of the issue. If he does miss time, Jack Sanborn will probably see an uptick in reps at linebacker.
