Yates (concussion) was released by the Bills on Tuesday after both parties agreed on an injury settlement, Mike Rodak of ESPN reports.
Yates was placed on the injured reserve last week with a concussion. The Bills are currently carrying three healthy quarterbacks on their roster, so a return in the near future seems unlikely. The veteran signal-caller will now be free to find a new opportunity once his health allows it.
