Bruton suffered a broken right fibula during Sunday's game against the Steelers, and while he played through the ailment, he will now miss four to six weeks, the Denver Post reports.

X-rays reportedly didn't show any breaks, but an MRI confirmed the fracture, a fairly incredible result given that Bruton was able to continue playing after suffering the injury when he collided with teammate Aqib Talib. Bruton, who has not been placed on season-ending injured reserve, has a career-high 42 tackles, one sack and two interceptions this season.
