Bruton (concussion) was released from the Redskins' injured reserve Friday, The Washington Post reports.
Bruton, who signed a three-year, $9.15 million deal with the Redskins in the offseason, had been on IR since sustaining a concussion earlier on in the season. The team promoted Dashaun Phillips from the practice squad in a corresponding move.
