Broncos' Javonte Williams: Another huge performance
Share Video
Williams carried the ball 15 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for 10 yards and another TD in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Lions.
The rookie looked like he might be get another game as the undisputed lead back for Denver after Melvin Gordon suffered a hand injury early in the first quarter, but the veteran RB quickly returned to action and wound up scoring two TDs of his own while leading the Broncos in scrimmage yards. Williams' numbers were hardly disappointing though, as he opened the scoring with a five-yard run in the opening frame before hauling in his TD pass in the third quarter, giving him four touchdowns in the last three games. Gordon isn't expected to miss any action due to his latest injury, leaving Williams in a timeshare once again in Week 15 against the Bengals.
