Bryant's high ankle sprain may still be a ways away from healing, as head coach Kevin Stefanski said it was "to be determined," when asked whether the tight end would need to go on injured reserve Monday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Bryant suffered the injury in the Browns' Week 12 loss to the Ravens. Although he's listed as third on the positional depth chart, the Browns' tendency to feature the position consistently leaves Bryant as a steady contributor on offense. If Bryant isn't able to play Sunday in a rematch with the Ravens, it's hard to say who will step up, as No. 4 tight end, Stephen Carlson, was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
