Browns' Kevin Johnson: All clear for primetime appearance

Johnson (groin) is active for Sunday night's game against the Giants, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

With Denzel Ward recuperated from a calf injury and prepared to make his first appearance since Week 11, Johnson is expected to recede into a reduced role within Cleveland's secondary. The Wake Forest product has garnered starts over each of the Browns' past three games, but he's logged only two starts in eight mutual appearances alongside Ward this season.
