Buccaneers' Vita Vea: Officially ruled out for Week 3

Vea (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Vea was initially tagged as doubtful for Sunday's game after not practicing all week. Now that he's been ruled out, his next opportunity to play will be Week 4 against the Eagles on Sept. 29. Greg Gaines will step up into the starting nose tackle role and enforce the Bucs' interior defensive line.
