C.J. Prosise: Unable to secure roster spot

Prosise was released by the Buccaneers on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Prosise suited up for a career-high 10 games last season with the Texans, but he mostly handled a special-teams role. The 2016 third-round pick will likely test the market, though a practice squad role seems most likely.
