The Chiefs didn't activate Edwards-Helaire (knee) from injured reserve prior to Saturday's 4 p.m ET deadline for Week 10 roster moves, meaning he won't play Sunday against the Raiders.

Even though Edwards-Helaire resumed practicing this week when first eligible after missing the requisite three games, head coach Andy Reid admitted Friday that it was "probably a stretch" for the second-year running back to make it back for the matchup with the Raiders. With Edwards-Helaire not added back to the 53-man roster for Sunday's game, Darrel Williams once again looks on track to receive steady work on the ground while taking on most of the passing-down work for Kansas City. Assuming he turns in another good week of practice, Edwards-Helaire has a good shot at making it back for the Chiefs' next game Nov. 21 against the Cowboys.
