Cody White: Released by Seattle

The Seahawks released White on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The veteran wideout is expected to sign with the team's practice squad. His 53-man roster spot went to Shaquill Griffin, who was signed off the practice squad Thursday. In Week 1 against San Francisco, White played five offensive snaps and another six on special teams, returning two kickoffs for 59 yards.
