Cole Turner: Signs with Tennessee practice squad

The Titans signed Turner to the practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The signing marks Turner's first contract of the regular season after being waived by the Commanders on Aug. 26. The tight end will be a reserve piece for the Titans, being available for elevation to the active roster behind starters Gunnar Helm, Chig Okonkwo, and David Martin-Robinson.
