Corey Thompson: Jettisoned by Buffalo

Thompson was let go Friday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Thompson hung on to a depth roster spot for the past two seasons with the Bills, but with Tyler Matakevich being added in free agency and Andre Smith being signed as a late addition this week, Thompson's odds of making the team became quite a bit longer, and that hope ultimately got squashed Friday. He remains a possibility for the Bills' practice squad.
