Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Could play Thursday

Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said Monday that Lamb (concussion) is "doing really well" and will have a chance to play Thursday against the Raiders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Lamb sustained a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, and while he apparently improved overnight, the receiver will have several steps to clear under the league's protocol for head injuries to be able to play. Because Amari Cooper (illness) will be unavailable Thursday, Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson would take on leading roles if Lamb doesn't gain clearance in time.
